Hi guys it's just a small glimpse the story has not started yet....don't worry the first part will be uploaded on 28th September hope you all can wait š... thank you š....
The sun was just beginning to rise, casting a warm golden hue across the training grounds of the Indian Air Force Academy. Akriti Chatterjee stood at attention, her heart racing as she took in the sight of the aircrafts lined up like soldiers ready for battle. Today was the day she would finally get to fly a trainer aircraft, a milestone she had been dreaming of since she could remember. But amidst the excitement, there was a lingering thought that made her anxiousāRaj Malhotra.
Raj was more than just a Squadron Leader; he was a mystery that Akriti couldnāt quite unravel. His grumpy demeanor and aloofness masked a depth of emotion that stirred her curiosity. Since their first encounter, where he had dismissed her dream of flying as naĆÆve, Akriti found herself both infuriated and intrigued by him. She couldnāt shake the feeling that beneath his hardened exterior was a man who had been through too much.
As she prepared for her flight, Akriti noticed Raj across the tarmac, engaged in a heated discussion with another officer. His brows were furrowed in concentration, and for a moment, she felt a pang of sympathy for him. She knew he carried the weight of his responsibilities like a heavy cloak, but she also sensed a vulnerability that he hid well.
āAkriti!ā a voice called, snapping her back to reality. It was her fellow trainee, Priya, a bubbly girl with an infectious smile. āAre you ready for your first flight? Youāll rock it!ā
āThanks, Priya. I hope so,ā Akriti replied, her mind flickering back to Raj. āDo you think heāll be around to see it?ā
Priya chuckled, āOh, come on! Heās always busy. But donāt let that get to you. Focus on your flight!ā
With a determined nod, Akriti pushed aside her thoughts of Raj. This was her moment, and she wouldnāt let anythingāa grumpy Squadron Leader or her own insecuritiesādistract her.
As she climbed into the cockpit, the adrenaline surged through her veins. The instructor, a seasoned pilot named Captain Arjun, guided her through the pre-flight checks. āYouāve got this, Akriti. Just remember to trust your instincts,ā he said, his calm demeanor reassuring her.
Moments later, the aircraft roared to life, and Akriti felt a thrill like no other as they soared into the sky. The world below shrank away, leaving only the vast expanse of blue. In that moment, nothing else matteredāuntil she caught a glimpse of Raj watching from the ground, arms crossed, a frown etched on his face.
The flight was exhilarating, and Akriti maneuvered the aircraft with confidence, her spirit soaring higher than the plane itself. Once back on solid ground, she could hardly contain her excitement. But as she stepped out of the cockpit, she spotted Raj striding towards her, his expression unreadable.
āCongratulations, Chatterjee,ā he said, his voice low and steady. āYou did well.ā
āThank you, Sir,ā she replied, trying to keep her composure. āIt was an incredible experience!ā
āDonāt let it get to your head. Flying is just the beginning,ā he warned, but there was a flicker of something in his eyesāpride, perhaps?
āOf course, Sir. I want to keep improving,ā she said, her heart racing. āI want to be the best.ā
His gaze softened for a brief moment before he turned away. āGood. Because this isnāt just about you. Thereās a lot more at stake here than personal ambitions.ā
His cryptic words lingered in the air like an unfinished melody. Akriti watched him walk away, her heart a mix of triumph and confusion. What was he hiding? Why did he seem so burdened by his responsibilities?
Before she could ponder further, Priya bounced over, her face alight with excitement. āYou were amazing! I think you might just have a chance to impress the higher-ups!ā
As they walked back, Akriti couldnāt shake the feeling that Raj Malhotra was more than just a grumpy Squadron Leader. She sensed there was a storm brewing beneath his surfaceāone that could either bring them together or tear them apart.
Later that evening, as Akriti sat sketching the aircraft from memory, her thoughts drifted back to Raj. She knew there was more to his story, and she was determined to find out what it was. Little did she know, the winds of change were about to blow, and her journey was just beginningāa journey that would test her resolve, challenge her heart, and perhaps even change the course of her life forever.
As the moon rose high in the sky, Akriti made a silent promise to herself: she would uncover the truth behind Rajās walls. But first, she had to survive the turbulence that lay ahead.
